Took us 8 days, camped out every night; sometimes in the hiker's shelters along the way, most of the time just off-trail in various state parks in my hammock. It was an absolutely amazing adventure. Being MA we would have a day of nothing but wilderness, and then a day going through state park recreation areas, Army Corps of Engineers properties of spillways and dams and watershed management areas, long stretches along swamps and rivers, even power lines, and of course odd tiptoes through 200-300yr old graveyards. After 8 days we got to CT, got picked up, and it was only a 15min drive home. 10/10 exceeded expectations and is an outing I'll never have time to do again, but would.
