>>2550544My parents' dog is a long haired jack russel, the sweetest boy you'll ever meet, very calm, won't even show his teeth to another dog (fucked up a few bunnies tho)
Well, little Loki is a great hiking dog, I took him for a 30km trail some time ago and he was just fine. He's 7 years old now so he needs to rest more but still loves to go on hikes whenever he ccan. He's a big boy for his breed.
With him is my puppy, Maggie (short for Margaret Thatcher), a six months old, old English bulldog. She's much more the stereotypical bulldog, always close to me, doesn't scout out areas, just takes awareness of her surroundings, sits and listens when i tell her to, keeps a measured pace... She's quite the athletic type for her breed so she might turn out to be a good hiking dog even though that's not what I got her for. Anyways, she's still too young for long hikes and she can be fragile, she got a bit hurt after walking for two hours with me in the Woods one month ago.
