That Saturday, I was prepping/checking my backpacking gear. Picrel, not a bad base weight considering there's a bear canister in there and not a single bit of UL gear. This weekend I've been doing chores and errands, although I went rollerblading for several hours both Friday and Saturday night.
>What do you usually do for the perfect /out/ experience.Pack that backpack, take a fly rod or three, and head into Jefferson National Forest in VA, the Cranberry Wilderness in WV, somewhere along the AT, etc., camp, and fish the backcountry for a long weekend or a whole week. That or float down a river (usually the New River) in kayaks and fish and camp for a long weekend.
