This is the "Have you hugged your axe" thread.
ITT we discuss the axes we use, what we use them for, maintenance, and general axe discussion.
I'll start. My favorite axe is a Gränsfors Bruks double bit felling axe.
I simply use it to fell standing dead trees.
I use my splitting mauls, and wedges split the wood making it easier to store, dry, and load into my outdoor Taylor wood furnace. The furnace keeps my house warm, and my water hot.
Also, what do you guys do for axe maintenance?
