Anyone have any projects they’re planning, working on, or recently completed?
I finally got around to making a structural ridge line for the hammock I made for my wife. It’s 1.9oz ripstop nylon in lime green with cerulean thread. I was shooting for 11’ but must have measured something wrong because it ended up 10’ 11”. The ridge line is 109” long, made from 1.75mm ZingIt, with eyes spliced on waiter end. I made a stuff sack from some tan nylon scraps I had.
It’s intended use is lounging in day hikes. We took it to the park Tuesday. It held up fine with both of use in it (close to 300lbs).
