Most of the time these people aren’t actually experienced bushcrafters, campers, or hikers, they’re just salespeople with a hatchet and camera. You should take their advice with a grain of salt, much like you should take all advice from the internet. The fact that people can’t deduce this on their own will forever baffle me. Obviously the guy with 2 hatchets, 4 knives, and 3 saws either doesn’t know or doesn’t care what he’s doing.
