Looking for ultralight flashlight for house call work. something that can fit in my pocket and not break the bank. I was on Techtoolsupply and most of the flashlight just seem a bit much..

This Milwaukee pen light is fantastic and since its a work light it is built VERY strong, its very bright and takes only 2 AAA batteries. I love mine

Streamlight Microstream/Macrostream. There's USB-rechargeable versions of each, and they're both great. A little pricy but absolutely bulletproof, and their customer service is excellent. I fucked up one of their pistol lights trying to clean it (moved a gasket and couldn't get it back in the right spot) and they just hand me send it in and sent a new one.

The sunlite eagle turbo is my favorite light of all time (as a mechanic) but it's shorter and fatter than most pens. It's also more money.

I carry an olight i1r2 pro with my keys, it's surprisingly bright and works well for occasional everyday use. I'm not sure the battery will be enough for youbut it is rechargable via USB c so if you carry a power bank or use your car a lot at work you could keep it juiced up at all times.

It's all the good things a flashlight needs without the lame ass design features that are purely astatic.

The Maglite solitaire and mini Maglite are outstanding but my mini mag, after 20 years, finally succumbed to corrosion where my inova has a totally different sealing method.

Olight Baton 3. I love that little light. sturdy design, good battery life if you dont leave it on the 1200 lumen setting for a long period of time, good magnet on the base so you can attach it to steel surfaces while working on stuff, the different light settings are easy to use and useful, and it's got a great pocket clip.
Turbo: 1200 lumens (~300) / 1.5+75 minutes
High: 300 lumens / 95 minutes
Medium: 60 lumens / 7.5 hours
Low: 12 lumens / 33 hours
Moon: 0.5 lumens / 20 days

Will cost you around $65 - 75 depending on what color you want. $100 if you get it with the portable charger/battery.

Consider a big pack of nurse pen lights. Super lightweight and inexpensive. Yeah, they aren't some super lumen blinder light, but they work fine for seeing into a dark corner.

You can get a pack of 16 of them for like 20 bucks on amazon.

Weak. I carry the Fenix LR35R for my EDC. 10,000 lumens, which is pretty low, but you gotta make sacrifices for what you can put in your pocket. It's just enough to cook an egg, start a fire, show your local mugger the light of God, and give a small group of children epilepsy.
