It already exists. It’s the Pinhoti Trail at Flag Mountain. It ends at the Benton Mackaye Trail in Fannin County, GA. That leads to Springer Mountain and the Appalachian Trail.

The AT isn't even a trail. It's a collection of abandoned logging roads linking state and federal parks pretending to be contiguous. I did training on the AT at ranger school and watched oblivious retards walk 8 feet away from a dozen soldiers in camo and not notice any of them.

ive done a lot of trespassing and camping in less than legal places in my youth. its pretty easy to not be seen in the woods. I've had people who were looking for me look straight at me 6 feet away and not see me. taking advantage of lighting is the best way. you are invisible on the edge of the woods with the sun at your back. I was also just a scrappy kid that thought nothing of crawling thought shrubbery and swamps just to get to camp in places no sane person would go.
