So we can start this off with the fact that I am retarded. There, we got that over with. I recently bought a fishing rod hard case that does not fit my fishing ROD AND REEL. I thought the whole point of this "hard case" was to fit a rod and reel. Well, it's meant for fishing rods only, I think. To be transported on planes. It is the Plano 4588. Anyways. does anyone have any suggestions of hard cases for fishing rods? Mine always get fucked up in the back of my SUV. I finally bought a nice rod and want to take good care of it. So anyone with suggestions here? I was gonna see if a cheap gun case might work, but I think that might be too slim for the reel.
