>>2553410Going to 2nd this. Paracord, especially larger lengths of it, will stretch significantly. This is good in many uses but in tarps it will cause sagging. If you use a nylon tarp it was compound the issue. Depending on which tarp, this could be a nuisance or compromise it's ability to stay up.
Zing it works well for tarps, and I find that knots are easily undone when need but not under use. Paracord gets used for things like bear hanging and camp stuff because it's cheaper and forms strong but sometimes near permanent knots. Plus you can melt it easier and remove the core strands to create different cordages.
