I love going outside, but solo camping always turns into me just staying up all night. I'm not scared of any of the animals around here (Southern AZ), but the idea of people creeping around my campsite at night (it's happened) gives me the heebie jeebies. I can never get more than three or four hours of sleep sporadically throughout the night. I'm always armed with a pistol or something but that doesn't really help. Any advice on dealing with this?
