I will never understand you people.
Looking at OPs gear, and JUST HIS GEAR, i'd say he lives in a wooded area, with abundant water sources. Understanding the ms paint pic he threw together, he hase the 5 C's of Survivability (Thanks Dave, never knew what to call them), he has food, and a funny image of a chicken leg (ha, its funny, a joke. He probably does carry meat, but its cooked, or preserved in some manner), he hammock camps, and its warm there, so no need for a heavy sleeping arrangement. Ramen, though high in sodium, can provide the calories he needs while remaining on a budget. Not everyone can go full $20 dehydrated meal, for an easy out trek.
He has a large cutting tool, which makes sense, as he probably lives in a heavily wooded area. He could probably make do with less, but this gives him the chopping power a smaller tool would not. An axe, for him, is not needed, as he is only processing small amounts of wood, thus the larger knife works perfect for the scenario he would put it through.
Chili, though heavy in its can, is tasty. No explanation needed, its comfort.
He has multiple ways of fire, including tea lights, a nice useful way of transferring a flame.
The bungie coords are for that hammock, same with the cordage.
He has a perfectly simple, and viable gear list for an overnighter in good weather, for an experienced outdoorsman.
Also, why does this board of such an aversion to any cutting tool nowadays? We used to have knife discussions many times a week.
