>>2561331Mnt Dew as a food, sugar and liquid, salt
drink instead of eat, burn through it fast, no longer lasting sugars/carbs, end up burning fat entire time you are hiking/moving,
potatoes and pemmican ARE good foods(everything needing to be dehydrated ONLY works if you have ready access to water/filterable water) potato(no water needed/foil and throw in around fire)
WATER is the limiter of all trips, no water sources, no travel(carrying water only works to a certain degree without refill locations) so collapsible water jugs and containers(many) and repair stuff to fix holes and cuts, filters(many) now you have water potential because boiling all your water takes too much fuel unless you have free wood/fire/sun boiler and time
SALT, I can't repeat this enough, you WLL SWEAT all your salt out, salt your water(poor mans gatorade, if you add sugar/fla) large waterproof sack
CARBS, because working out, walking, hiking, actually using your body will require it
meat, because you are building/ripping muscles you forgot you possess
SHOES made for long distance walking(boots nice for rocky terrain, not for distance usually)
SOCKS, because you get nasty blisters, easier to clean/dry yourself while traveling
Shelter, because sunburnt to death and frozen/winds/rain/sleet/snow isn't fun. Also just have some form of wind/rain deflection, everything else is layers you can add/remove as needed.
Get a dry bag or three, use one for dirty clothes, throw a scrubber/tumble cleaner in there, motion of your body and that ball/dongle with some soap water will clean shit for you sometimes, rinse, dry, use, repeat.
power, because not having your cellphone, gps, and other things will make you a random body found in the middle of nowhere
light is too easy, up to preferences, just remember to have bandana or something to make your white light red/blue when you want some privacy while walking at night, long ass battery life and/or easy recharge a must, have at least 2 or more
