Looks like they went to a little pond where the producers stuffed it full of salmon. You could fake a fall and have the producers take you out, eat a nice full meal or 2, and then come back if medically cleared, no one could say shit if someone did this. They all barely lost any weight. The hike at the end was retarded because it had nothing to do with survival it was just who could get to a point quickest? The Alpha team was definitely encouraged by the producers to go steal sleeping bags and the guy hiding with them in a tree with a camera man right there was so fake. I don't think these people slept in hotels for a month, but they definitely got intervened with by the production team.
Its a show for boomers or people who know nothing about the outdoors.
Alone is still the undisputed GOAT outdoor tv show, along with MeatEater, and a few other hunting shows like Shockey and Remi Warren
