I'm a editor for Jim Shockey's The Professionals and the new upcoming show "Uncharted". Broadcast on the Outdoor channel and on wild.tv.

Recently one of the hosts, Corey Knowlton was in the media for buying the Black Rhino tag (was on CNN today).

So, ask me anything about the background or behind the scenes of the show, I can also spoil a few things of the new show.

I think your show is disgusting, though well filmed and edited (from what I have seen). Your travelling and killing culture truly upsets me.

Do you have a background in sport hunting and machoism, or are you an editor who has been hired on to the project?

Everyone in post production knows about the controversy with hunting. We try to push the new show to focus more on cultural aspects and the characters, but producers are afraid that we will lose audience, so that will probably fail. I wish I could tell you otherwise.

Legally purchased tags and people still get upset.

Daily reminder that if the common man had their way we'd have zero predators and not be allowed to shoot the quickly swelling herbivore ranks and then we could all enjoy the desolate forests torn to shreds until they finally contract some horrid disease or just die of starvation.

It's better because it's natural, right?

Hi there, OP. Welcome to 4chan. I've never seen or heard of any of the shows you mentioned, but we like hunting and killing things here on /out/ (also on /k/), so you're in good company.

That said, I find it pretty strange that you'd choose to make a thread about a relatively obscure cable TV show on one of the more obscure boards on 4chan of all places, and that the first reply to the thread is someone who apparently knows one of the people on the show. If you'd made a thread on reddit, or some other forum where people actually believed in things, then I can see your thread having some sort of purpose, but the only anti-hunting posts you're likely to get here are trolls, deliberately stirring the pot so as to manufacture a little controversy for fun. I'm honestly not sure what you were thinking when you started this thread.

Hi and thanks for your welcome.
I usually lurk other boards.

I'm actually not looking for anti-hunting posts or feeding a shitstorm.
I made this threat for honest questions of people who may know the show and are interested in some behind-the-scenes info or other insider trivia.
If nowbody knows the show then the thread will die and thats ok too.
I actually also planned on making this thread before the whole black rhino thing happened.

as for the other post of the guy who knows a coworker, I was completely surprised by that too, didn't expect that.

To be honest I also never heard of the show or the channel before I worked for it. It's on cable in the states and I think on wild.tv in canada.

I've watched Shockey and others on The Outdoor Channel for years and have found him to be sincere and consistent.

His brand as guide, archer and black powder hunter is reputable and knowledgeable.

An interesting personality that as host is watchable and mildly entertaining.

After all, he truly is /out/ and has the video to prove it.

10/10 would hunt and hang with.
