I'm actually starting a job in a couple months. My family bought a cabin resort up some mountains near a lake.

They need me to live onsite rent-free and manage the property. I'll typically just sit at the front desk 7 hours a day to meet and greet customers and call maintenance/cleaning occasionally.

Will give me the rest of the day to dick around the ranch, go fishing/boating, hiking.

Pretty much my dream job.

I pretty much live off the rent from some properties I bought so have lots of time for /out/. I have a part time-ish job too that takes up a couple days a week. Out is actually pretty cheap, especially when you live in um.../out/

I'm going to the conservation field.

- inb4 "cuts down trees".. Not a lumberjack, someone who manages debris, fire, disease, etc in forests

- there are guides for everything: hunting, fishing, hiking, caving, rock climbing, camping, survival, etc

There are tons of outdoor jobs, people just don't look into them enough. Nature is a resources and has a huge tourism part to it. Use your brain!

Student. Doing a year long college credited course for a number of different guiding certifications. Hoping to be a river guide this summer and when I finally get my AMG, become a mountain guide as a career. Also want to work for the Colorado outward bound school. Job I just finished was working on a 28' cutter as a mate sailing from MA to the West Indies. Before that I was on a 3 month outward bound college credited course that involved mountain climbing in the Rockies and the Andes and rock climbing and canyoneering in the Western US. My in between job has been landscaping, more specifically tree work. Pretty much I climb trees and prune, cut a lot down too
