Check out something naive, targeted at teens. The really good ones? They do such a great job of capturing that feeling, and inspiring it in you. I like kind, happy, optimistic books that make me feel good about silly things like "oh, that's a big tree!"
if you're looking for fiction, try "The Onion Girl" by Charles de Lint. Or whateves David Troupes' latest book of poems is (he does modern pastorals in a way that makes me feel warm and fuzzy). There's probably some good non-fiction out there, to make you feel great about it. For me, it's any of the biographies of the USA's founding fathers. Those always getting me going with feeling something positive and strong about the outdoors. Jefferson or later folks like Teddy. There are also a number of amazing journals from the 1950s about the USGS exploring Alaska that are pastoral-as-fuck, and feel great. "The Silent River: A pastoral elegy in the form of a narrative", besides having my grandfather as one of the main characters, is pretty nice.
