>>2573235If you put some sorta gps locator device, radio, and i guess a big metal peice for metal detector.
What are the best ways to re-find the box?
Most stuff can be moved by shifting earth plates and weather.
Do you tape large metal peice in ground to the box?
And clearly you need to waterproof the stuff a lot. Like multiple layers of some sturdy water proof material.
>>2573366According to this guy finding underground storage and junk is easy.
So i guess you don't need to indlude extra metal, gps, radios, or junk?
Burying paper like materials is probably a bad idea, hard to keep paper fresh.
Your watches might become non-funtional in bad curcumstances, but chance you could restore them.

Look if we're talking about hiding stuff for multiple 100's or 1,000's of years, the chances of some random person finding it, or the atmosphere/earth/elements ruining the shit inside increases with time.
I've heard how people who bury shit, find it a decade or so later, and rebury it, and basically do that untill they are finished with it or die.
Checking the "loot spot" every 10 years or so, is a good way to make sure the stuff isn't ruined.
And also good to make sure you remember how to find it.
Plus if you 20-30 years old only need to check the stuff/spot like 6-8 times before you die.
