Will off-grid living in new england even be feasible in the coming decades? Will the woods become fully lyme infested? I wouldn't want to buy land there only for it to become disease ridden.

Considering how sharp the difference is between Massachusetts and the surrounding states, it's most likely a difference in reporting system. I'll bet they still have similar rates to the rest of the Northeast.

Using biological controls can keep ticks downs to a point we're they're a none issue on your property.
Namely keeping birds. I found maybe one or two ticks on my pets and often times zero on my people during the summer in Maine. Just buy having dicks and chickens around. Attracting insect eating wild birds by having the right type of bird feeders out can work okay too but not as well as the domestic birds

Not possible, lyme is a new world disease. Yaws and Pinta are similar and native to the old world, and are also caused by spirochete bacteria.

Lymes disease is just lead poisoning and the ticks are actually trying to heal you by bioaccumulating the lead, if you rip off their head their lead spills back into your bloodstream and poisons you.
