yup, pretty rubbery and full tang. Feels good in the hand and the sheat although plasticky feels pretty good too.

Curious to see if it can handle bushcraft shit despite the handle shape.

The first time I ever bought a gerber was going into the military. I bought three knives on the same day:
A gerber multitool MP600; a leathermen supertool (original); and a spider-co Endura with serrated blade.
The spyderco now belongs to my brother, I still have the supertool, and the gerber fell apart a long time ago. Gerber never changed their blade material--it was never good.

I would re-gift it to a teenage boy so he can learn how to sharpen something that will constantly need sharpening.

Breh, I listed the models. All of these were bought in 2000--there was only one model of the MP600 and the original Supertool.... gerber may have had a powder coated version but that is superficial to performance.

The problems with modern Gerber's are lack of quality assurance, I bought two of these fuckers one was soft as shit so much so that I could bend it and the second one was perfect and Is my go-to for quick bushcrafting trips.
I think those dutch fags ( backyard boys or whatever) that review knives had a similar experience where they reviewed this and had two identical ones perform in entirely different ways.
