The other key elements are fire and water. You should be able to make a decent fire, using flint or a lighter or even just rubbing sticks together, for keeping warm, cooking, boiling, making charcoal, and other uses.
You should also be able to source your own safe drinking water for long trips, using iodine or natural charcoal filters or boiling.
Lastly, shelter, bringing a tent or building a shelter, from bushcraft or with a traditional method. Again, spending some time reading online is how you can teach yourself a lot of things, finding books to read on the subject will help you immensely as well.
So:
Food, water, shelter.
That's survival.
The more you know and have practiced, about the local environment and survival techniques, the easier it will be for you to survive.
