It probably takes a minute or so longer to snip fly, put on drying patch, reel in, swap spools, re-thread the line, and tie one back on than it does to fold, stow, unstow, and unfold, but what's that, an extra five to ten minutes added onto your total trip time? Versus two two-foot-long bundles of rod with reels and line awkwardly strapped to your kit?
