I've finally gotten my arthritis under control and I'm getting back into backpacking after like 8 years, and I'm looking for some places to head /out. I live on the central coast, and with the highways into Big Sur being closed for the foreseeable future, this recent insane snow season in the Sierras, and all the rain washing out many of the trails, I'm struggling to find places to go. My most recent trip was into the San Rafael Wilderness (picrel), and it was beautiful but the trails were very poorly maintained.

What does /out recommend? I can reasonably make 15ish mile days at this point, but I'm hoping by the summer I'll be in 20 mile shape.
