Two obvious no brainers worth mentioning:
DIY 'camelbak' water bottle hose: if you use bottles its really only a few grams and not a whole lot of bulk to make a camelbak hose for it. you don't need to be fancy. melt and plastic weld a spare cap. easy job.
DIY sawyer filter -> gravity filter mod: i have no idea why companies still sell water bladders without this mod pre-done.
DIY 2-5 grams bidet: get an extra cap for your bottle and poke an angled hole in it.
Reflectrix pot coozie/water bottle coozie/etc: so nice in the winter. lets you bring less fuel too.

I modified my camelbak to give myself an enema a few years ago because my guts were all locked up from an operation on my hernia

It is now by guest bag for when friends come from out of town to ride.
I dont tell them that I stuck it in my ass because they would probably not like that

Loaded with my puffy jacket, quilt, sleeping pad, and BV475.
Next prototype will have side straps that buckle to the roll top for top compression, as well as normal side compression straps

Patterned and sewed a hub for the side and top compression to meet and terminate at.
The webbing will pass through and be sewn into a bound main seam, so this is mostly just aesthetic and no need to box stitch
