Around here those are Robins, Red Wing Blackbirds, Chickadees, Swainson's Thrush, Varied Thrush and Crows/Seaguls.
All of these are easy to learn. It gets complicated when you have some sound alikes like Gross Beaks and American Robins but, in general, the ones I like to call "little peepers" all sound similar but you can usually figure it out based on where you are (deep forest, clearing, near water..etc).
This software, like any other software tool geared towards out doors, is targeted at people who talk about loving the outdoors but actually don't.
Birders want to HEAR the calls and see the bird--they don't want to be staring at a cellphone app.
I absolutely wouldn't use the app to teach how to distinguish bird calls
