The north of Scotland, is the only place that feels really wild, its one of the least populated areas of europe outside of russia and scandinavia. Over grazing by deer and sheep means that the huge ancient forests are gone but there are still plenty of small woodlands. The countryside in England and Wales is pleasant and peaceful but not wild really.
