Hey folks, first time poster here, how many coyotes do you think I could fight and walk away from? I'm 20, kind of skinnyfat, 6'7 and about 220ish pounds. To my knowledge a coyote is like 40 pounds and can really only bite, any other attack would be a meme. I plan to do this at around 2 pm and bring my favorite 7 foot plank of wood.

For backstory a few days ago my (male)cat encountered another (male, probably)cat, and after an argument between them they bolted off towards a trail, and today I've noticed a population of coyotes at around 9. I plan to go into the wooded areas where I've previously found 'em and look for my kitty there.
There's a non-zero chance they didn't end up going all the way through the trail and I'd be picking a fight with coyotes in vain, but I'd like to know if they got to my little friend or if there's still hope.
