That should be posted at every camp and trail.
I grew up enjoying a nice walk w mom or brother or other kids.
My dad used to let me follow him hunting for small game.
I got so I enjoyed walking alone or with friends exploring the miles around our little town.
Being quiet and seeing birds and animals just going about their day is the coolest thing I can imagine now that I'm adult.
Gila monsters are cute, bobcats, coyotes, deer, etc all just chilling way out and they don't really mind you in their space if you don't be a retard.
I've seen mountain lions in the rocky hills just sleeping and pick their head up to peek at me for a second then go back to sleep because I'm just another animal going somewhere or not.
Wear headphones if you really want to hear your music.

Do they do this?
Unless you mean specifically on the move, in which case I don't really know why anyone does it. In general, I'd say most groups of people like to play some sort of music at campsites, you just hope they're polite enough to keep it fairly low.

Medieval and baroque, I did not know much about the music but the method I am learning from has tons of it, and it really makes the instrument shine.

The only good thing about summer is that it gets light out earlier so you can be out there before all the normalshits. By mid-day, I'm doing other activities besides hiking unless I'm in a really remote area where normals don't go anyway. And I don't even bother camping between Memorial Day and Labor Day (plus weekends between Labor Day and Halloween) unless it's deep in the backcountry.

I hate off-road vehicles. If you can't walk there then you don't belong there. Trying to enjoy the sound of winds, birds, water, etc when some faggots start revving their dirt bikes or ATVs makes me crazy. Same with generators. My fault for not going further out but still, goddamn.

It's a pretty good argument actually. Like trails with campsites and outhouses, it minimizes the overall impact humans would have. I whistle while I hike. Helps me maintain my pace, because if I'm breathing too hard to keep up the whistling then my kids won't be able to keep up for long. It also helps keep the kids engaged. But I've got so used to it that I whistle even while I'm hiking alone now.

The reason there are ATV trails is immaterial--If I want to avoid noise I avoid mixed use land that allows for more than just hikers. If I want to be loud as fuck I go to the mixed use lands. Pretty simple.
I don't expect to hear a 2stroke wine on a foot trail and I don't have the right to complain about noise in DNR "hot" zones.
