I would like to go outside more, but I generally don't know what to do with myself and I don't like how the wind and the sun feel on my skin.

The wind is usually too cold. It's only pleasant when the temp is above 75. I need long sleeves in anything below that. The sun feels like a radiant lighter version of opening a hot oven and that unpleasant blast of heat hits you, except it's just everywhere all at once. Then after being in the sun I just feel exhausted and always have to take a nap.

I like looking at plants and animals but weather is always such an awful part of being outdoors.

I like the outdoors in theory, I just hate how it feels to actually be outside most of the time, and it's generally boring. I like parks because there's a trail to walk, but after the trail I just go home because what else would I do?

If you hate weather, force yourself to stand in the rain until you like it. I still don't get what I'm supposed to do outside. If there's work, like cutting wood, then fine. If there's an activity like a hike then fine. But why would I stay outside after the work is finished?

Just put down all your electronic shit, drive somewhere away from home, find an open space and just lay on your back and observe. Force yourself to do it. Listen to the birds and bugs, the leaves in the trees, count clouds, take a nap. Just exist outside. You need to get it out of your head that you must be doing something if you want to enjoy the outdoors

Very consumer take for a second, but there's a lot of newer sun shirts with long sleeves and high UPF that might give you an option of feeling more covered against wind and sun but still comfortable.

Fair enough, I don't have fun doing much, even with people, if it doesn't seem to further anything. I do kind of want to learn freshwater fishing so maybe I can do that while I sit outside.

I'll try getting some new shirts. It's tough sometimes because most synthetics irritate my eczema so with long sleeves my forearms burn raw after a while. That means my base layers have to be cotton which gets gross when sweaty. I own a handful of synthetics that don't affect me for whatever reason, so I'll see if I can get newer stuff that matches those blends.

But being outside really fucking sucks. Its always hot out no matter what, 90 degrees at least. It's really muggy out all the time so much so I have trouble breathing just being outside because the air is so thick.
But anything below 75 degrees is absolutely freezing to me. No amount of clothing helps.
Also I can't enjoy anything. Ticks and mosquitos everywhere. You have to constantly be paranoid for them.
Again I am not an urban type person. I dont have any attention problems or tech addictions. But I just can't enjoy myself outside.

No you don't. They'll get you and you can pick them off. Sure there's the risk of Lyme but there's always a risk - like the risk of becoming an indoor hermit and dying without having had nice outdoor experiences just because you're afraid the ghost of ticksmas past might get you. It's a lot like not being in the sun because of melanoma and developing a vitamin d deficiency instead.

It can't really be called a "challenge" if it's comfortable. Comfort is the opposite of a challenge. It's the struggle, the journey which makes it interesting.

Try taking cold shower. Maybe just your feet first. Maybe the entire body eventually. You will hate it at first, but at some point it'll become tolerable. And soon enough, you won't mind it and even might begin to enjoy it for what it is.
