they took away dark sky (mobile app) and made you use the generic weather app on iphone (if you don't want to use another app with ads or that you have to pay for)
like apple bought the better weather app, and then disabled it
they made the native weather app better, but dark sky was still better and easier and I miss it forever

it would be nice to have that in a weather app I have a bookmark for the gauge for my local river and I also sometimes look at the USGS national water dashboard (USA) for water levels to judge whether a particular waterfall is worth seeing or whether a hike with water crossings would be doable, etc.

I feel like in a lot of cases the best trails for fishing can be the best trails for hiking. I like trails along small creeks at high elevations in the middle of nowhere and those cooler temperatures tend to support native brook trout habitats even where the water quality and level has diminished from human intervention.
