>>2593612Fatguysfishing website sells some starter kits and Do it molds might also sell some. The initial cost to get started is pretty high depending on what you want to do. I would recommend figuring out what style of soft plastic you want to do first, aluminum molds are usually between $120 - $200 depending on the size, and how many cavities it has, I would recommend going with cnc aluminum molds because the products come out cleaner, with a glossy finish, and the molds hold their value in the second hand market. There is also cast aluminum molds that are cheaper but the baits come out with more of a non glossy finish. There is a lot of groups on FB where people sell molds and injectors. For injectors I mainly use the Do it molds ones, they are cheap and they sell kit to make it a Dual Injector so you can shoot baits that have 2 colors. There is also Open Pour baits that you just pour the plastisol in once you mix it. It's a fun hobby but man it can get expensive. Once you get everything though it's not to bad because you only have to buy the injectors once, molds will last for ever, ink and glitter last a while, and 1 gallon of plastisol can be like $40 after shipping and that makes a lot of baits, then you'll need stuff like bags, more pyrex cups to heat plastisol. Don't expect to make money right away though there is hundreds of bait makers selling stuff online that you won't be able to compete with because they have large systems to make a lot of baits quickly so they can sell them for cheaper.
