anyways, the nature in Turkey is generally pretty good. There's a lot of historical sites scattered about that you can casually visit while hiking as well, just as side quests.
I don't worry about wild animals much but especially in the parts I've been, dogs are a huge issue. The government doesn't place the excess population of stray dogs in shelters, it doesn't euthenize them either, they just pick them up from the street if there's a complaint and put them on some forest trail or mountain. As a result, rural and forested areas are just loaded with them and it can be dangerous if you're unarmed. They also hinder the wildlife which is pretty sad.
The continental east is the least attractive place in Turkey if you ask me, it's just rocky or grass.Not the coastal east tho, the black sea part is great. Great greenery, a lot of bioactivity, great athmosphere, amazing sights and a shitload of waterways. I like small creeks and shit.
Other than that, the mountainous forested parts of the mediterranean, aegean and marmara is good.
