>>2595513I think black ink looks good on skin, I like the reminders and memories my tattoos bring me at any random time in life, I like the conversation piece, I like that the people I want to have sex with are attracted to tattoos, I like the history of tattoos with people getting them since at least the late paleolithic period, I like the risk of putting something permanent on you with no guarantee it'll come out right or heal right, I like how after months of working in an office the shallow intern girl suddenly gets whett when she sees my sleeves up for the first time, I like how annoyed grouchy old people get about them, and finally I like how they can become a very long term project; to try and solve how to expand them and piece new tattoos alongside the old while keeping them looking like they belong together.
but anybody you ask will have completely different answers. I have a friend who finds prominent artists he likes, waits months for his appointment, and then tells them they can do whatever they want, and that's what he enjoys about it.
