>>2598658>These people annoy me the mostWhy do you care how others enjoy their /out/ings if it doesn't affect you in any concevable way? Some years back I did this 100 or so miles trail and while I didn't ran it, I kinda speedwalked my way through it, so I was going pretty fast, at the end of it I met someone that administered a facebook page related to said trail that she used to upload content and pictures of the hikers passing through. After speaking a bit she and telling her from where I was arriving she snapped a picture of me and posted it on the page with a couple good spirited words describing my hike as if I was flying through. Excused to say that that a bunch of overweight boomers decided to take the time to comment on the post, while some just said something trivial or pointed that I wasn't carrying a huge backpack, a few of them were genuinely seething, writing stupid shit like that nature wasn't the place to train for the olympics, that I needed to go slow because I risked injury or, like you said, I was missing on the experience. All of these without speaking a single word with me, knowing me or even seeing me there, and to top it all, completely oblivious to the fact that I had an amazing time in what probably is a top 3 of my favorite /out/ings.
Different strokes for different folks, enjoy /out/ the way you please but don't be a retard going around saying others are missing out when they can say the same about you.
