How to not get spooked when solo in the middle of nowhere? Sup guys, I hike pretty regularly but at normalfag parks where I see about a group or 2 of people every hour or so but today I went to a national forest since I've been wanting to make the leap to camping. It was so much better /out/ wise but it was very spooky to not have that social panopticon. Not worried about wildlife just meth heads. I spent the first hour paranoid but chilled out. I did turn back on a trail later after getting the heebies. Should I try to befriend someone and go with or is there a way to go it solo? My doggo didn't help too much. Maybe I should try to car camp first
