I've got a small cottage in a forest with lots of medium/small lakes nearby and im kinda getting bored there.
I've been mostly cycling/hiking and fishing there but due to poor number of fish I either catch nothing or small roaches/perchs and something 'bigger' every two months with many hours spend there every weekend.
I don't wanna cycle for 20hours every weekend as I already do like 10 but I feel like replacing fishing with some other activity.
Hunting is illegal without like one year of training, and the only things i though of is kayaking but most lakes are like <3 miles long (the ones near me) so im not sure its gonna be fun enough for me plus I would probably end up fishing for the kayak anyway which changes nothing, and maybe buying a good camera and photographing animals/birds but i hardly doubt I can do it for 10 hours every weekend or something like that.
TL;DR
I need to find an outdoor activity to kill lots of time in the weekends.
Have you got any ideas? Lots of forests/small lakes/fields with little people in the area.
