Hiking in Oʻahu

No.2600731 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Going on a trip here, got 4 days and a car. Anyone got any recommendations and protips?
My plan is to rent a campsite and tent during the night since I read car/stealth camping is frowned upon.
Big ones I want to try are Reverse Olomana, Pu'u Piei, and Pali to K1 (pretty much just ripped off of this dudes blog: https://kenjisaito.com/)

But I'm also looking for short beautiful spots, sunset/sunrise viewing, little quiet chill spots to read a book. Be it a cafe or a hike.

I'm a seasoned hiker and skilled rock climber so the scrambling doesn't scare me.

So far I know
>hot as fucking fuck
>rain will lead to your death
>avoid rush hour in Honolulu
>Natives hate white tourists

So yea any recommendations, tips, things to know. Just looking to graze some wisdom, I don't know if the 5 Hawaii niggas will see this, it's lunch for them right now.
