Feet got bigger?

Has anyone had your feet sort of flatten out from wearing boots?
Ever since highschool when I keep my different shoes tight laced for sports I have keep my other shoes tight too. I wore boots with a good bit of wiggle room for a month and now none of my other shoes fit.

Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Your feet muscles have likely atrophied from wearing stiffer boots. Something strong and thick yet flexible, like Austrian Norwegian-Welted Mountain Boots with a leather footbed and midsole (normally 13-14mm thick total) measured to your feet and laces properly will behave similarly to a pair of Converse 70s with metal screws in the soles: they will strengthen your feet from carrying the weight, and from moving the foot and the boot protecting your foot. You’ll find that your shoes will fit like in highschool, when used for strenuous and speedy sports.

I've heard that how your feet look isn't the most important thing, with flat and fucked feet.
It's mostly about if your ankles are in a shit angle 'n' stuff like that they should be straight, but if people have flat feet, their ankles often curve inwards and have a weird looking position

I know that because I had it and it got better, which also fixed the posturing of my feet to be not flat from walking on basically the inner parts of the feet and not the whole feet

Well, if you mostly wear shoes a lot that prevent your foot and toes from bending around a lot you'll loose those muscles. As soon as you start using them again they should get back to normal so maybe walk barefoot at home and on easy hikes and pick up things with your toes instead of bending down for some exercise.

Well, if you mostly wear shoes a lot that prevent your foot and toes from bending around a lot like you'll loose muscles and shorten the tendons. As soon as you start using the muscles and tendons again they should get back to normal if it's not too bad yet. Thats why walking barefoot a lot and picking up things with your toes for some exercise can help with a lot of foot problems.
Don't let it bother you, just buy a few sizes bigger or take out the footbed to make shoes more comfy.

The fit for your boots is probably closer to what you really need.

For a few years Id switch between boots in the winter and shoes in the summer. Every summer Id have to adjust to the shoes for a few weeks. It dawned on me there's just not enough room in most modern footwear so I started ordering wides a half size down. The fit seems the same except I can wiggle my toes in the shoe/boot. Really makes a difference if you need to wear steel toes too.

Do people really cram their toes all the way in to the top of their dress shoes? Mine are pretty pointy but I just size up and leave some room in the toe.
