The first real wave of ripe wild blackberries has matured recently and I've been out picking as much as I can. I want to make as much blackberry jam as humanly possible. I don't have much time on my hands outside of work and taking care of the homestead but I'm trying to squeeze in as much picking and canning time as possible. In my area the main wave of ripe blackberries hits around the 4th of July. How's the wild blackberries around your place doing?
