The historical conservative right wasn't imperfect, however they at least based policy and ideology more upon observed reality with equanimity rather than emotion. Modern politics is now soo illogical that it is almost completely disconnected from reality with little exception, this is most especially and invariably true for those of left leanings and they constantly self contradict themselves as well. Everything you gobble up in the mainstream media and most modern literature now is in fact, false, illogical, and or propaganda (that is *all* owned by the same group of billionaire families). This is not to say that this is exclusive to just the left, however, as I said earlier it is by far the most prevalent and congruent with left thinking and their unthinking drones.
