Yeah looked it up, they carry a parasite that causes meningitis.
But beyond that, they compete with native shit for resources. For example there’s a bird called a limpkin that eats apple snails and it’s just above the point it’s considered endangered. Not that I care, I hate them. They scream from 1am-7am. Pretty sure they could just eat these giant snails instead though…
