There is an insane el nino in the Pacific and the usual monsoonal dip in the north Pacific jet stream has not happened yet, instead it looped around Alaska and is bombing south central AK with 30+ inches of rain and snow, while the southern jetstreams are stuck over the tropical el nino patch, creating a dead zone over the whole southern SW and dragging a middle stream through N CA, UT, CO, WY east through the midwest and NE and lingering down again over the southern coasts. Also I agree the fires were started artifically, it follows the same pattern as the 2019-2020 Australia and west coast US fires both of which were confirmed started by multiple individuals in multiple places.
