How do I carry my steam deck(TM) with me on multi-day ultralight hiking from serviced hut to hut without damaging it and how do I play it while hiking?

If I was coin enough to afford those I and wanted to hike with it I would unironically keep it in a sock inside another sock on top of pack so it wouldnt get damaged. I wouldnt walk with it though. Enjoy nature. Play at night before bed assuming this isnt a bait shitpost.

Throw it in included hard case and case inside backpack. Tbh it's not super portable, battery is weak when youare playing something more demanding but for gaming on the go u can choose either this or switch. Battery pack is necessary, with appropriate wattage. Also some kind of cloth to wipe it of from dust, hand cleaner because that thumbstick catch dirt and oils from hands like magnets.

Just get a powkiddy v90. Plays up to some PS1. The GBA library is enough in itself to scratch the itch and its also an mp4 player. Also has hot swappable batteries which are the Nokia type. You don't need anything more.

V90's design protects the screen and like I said, swappable batteries is a great feature especially when they're as small as the BL-5C battery. What would be really good is if I could convert a headlamp to run off of them then I wouldn't have to carry AAA's along with them, and the BL-5C's are rechargeable (as well as easy to acquire).
