started taking my dog out on local trails, but i’m worried the summer heat might be a little too much for her. when she goes into full pant mode i fill a bowl with cold water, and she drinks it but i can sense from her body language she wants to lay down after a little less than a mile. whenever she gets ahead of me she’ll sit down and won’t move until i catch up. i’ve had to carry her back from trails before because i feel so bad watching her start to slow down. any tips? or am i just being autistic?
