OP, there are calculators that help you figure out the solar/battery capacity you need for that power draw. there are some great battery packs on the market now, and they aren't that much more expensive than a DIY battery and inverter setup while being much more portable, and they offer LiFePo4 batteries which last a lot longer and are much less likely to explode.
