This is my watch, just took pic.
Even in full daylight I have to tilt it so the hands catch the light.
Fucking worthless as a watch, let alone for /out/ porpoises, but I have an olde Casio Pro Trek on my backpack strap. Useful for the time and ambient temperature if you happen to be interested. Altitude/barometer/compass functions work but are basically worthless on a watch, especially as alt works off baro, so as you climb you need to re calibrate at known altitudes.
Baro is great so long as you're not going up n down constantly, which is great if you're at home where you don't need it anyway.
Do any of you guys actually take a watch outdoors? I tend to go on the basis that it's either sunny - keep going, getting dark - go faster, dark - go faster next time.
