>>2651645I think it’s fine considering we were in a huge ledge/nook (first pitch Olive Oil belay). I never use lockers on my pieces in the anchor… kind of ridiculous imo. I’ve never seen anyone do it actually besides super safety ninnies who take an hour to climb said pitch. I’ll give you the sling PAS — but again, huge safe ledge nook. I like the girth hitch anchor lately. It’s fast. The locker IS locked — no red, not dead. I think the 6mm cord is fine for a janky old cam, rather use that than send it out to get reslung. Plus it’s like a WC Friend with a built in extender! Brad Gobright (PBUH) gave me that cam.

Soloed Tunnel Vision (5p, 5.7 T) today after some friends couldn’t go out today. Wonderful day on the rock. P3 narrow chimney had me kind of scared. Had to downclimb it, gather myself and go back up. Made it. Rather offwidthy. Hope y’all are out crushing, it’s Red Rock season baby!!!!
