Same happening to me. I'm counting it as a blessing though, there are a few hundred miles of trails near me, and generally the higher up you go the more sparse it is, and the more attuned to trail etiquette the people are. A few lower, easy, popular trails are being paved, adding wheelchair friendly entrances, water fountains, and trash cans. I'm hoping it acts as a scapegoat for weekenders and Californians to flock to and leave the rest of the dirty difficult trails to people who know basic trail etiquette.
