The large stature, the consistent orange color, the significant amount of food, the association with Halloween, going to a pumpkin patch, fall, and jack-o-lanterns...the way they hide in a field of huge, green leaves and vines until they turn orange and pop out...I just love pumpkins, it's not that weird. Right?
