a pair of pliers is a whole lot of weight and complexity, and negative tradeoffs like multitool knives sucking ass compared to standalone or sak, for just the ability to unstick zippers more easily.
i can just do it with a twig or something already in my kit.
only multitool that makes sense for hiking and backpacking are those mini ones with scissors instead of pliers and saks fight me.
